Vegan Naan Bread

300g Bobs Red Mill Organic Spelt Flour 

3 1/2g Simply No Knead Dry Active Yeast 

1 teaspoon Lotus Organic Brown Rice Syrup 

50g of Kingland Soy Yogurt - Plain

1/2 teaspoon Nirvana Organics Himalayan Crystal Salt

1 tablespoon rapeseed oil 



Mix all ingredients together with 100 ml of lukewarm water and knead with the food processor for 10 minutes to a smooth dough. Cover in a warm place for 30 minutes until the volume has approximately doubled.

Then divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll out to 0.5 cm thick flat bread.

Place in a hot coated (or cast-iron) pan and bake at high heat for about 2 minutes per side.

Then brush with a little oil and keep warm in the oven


TIP: For the garlic naan, coat the hot flatbread with garlic oil and top with some fresh coriander.
