Gentoo Filter Cartridge is essential for your Gentoo & Gentoo Plus Filtration System and it is up for replacement every 3 months, or with 600 litres of water used. Gentoo replacement cartridge has 6 stages of filtration: Fine top mesh – Pre-filtration Energising ceramic – Breaks down water molecules into smaller and aligned water clusters to increase water absorption properties. Activated carbon – Effectively filters chlorine, chemicals, bacteria and organic pollutants Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF) – filters heavy metals, prevents bacteria growth Calcium ionised clay & Ion exchange - Releases activated calcium ions and mild alkaline (pH 8.0 – 8.5) suitable for consumption and body absorption. Activated Alumina removes fluoride. Bottom mesh – Prevents particle release
