Author: Power Super Foods Date Posted:1 February 2026
These dark chocolate cacao truffles are rich, velvety and deeply indulgent — the kind of treat you make for someone you love (including yourself). Made with pure ingredients and no fillers, they’re proof that Valentine’s Day can be both decadent and nourishing.
Ingredients
-
5 tablespoons maple syrup (use less if you prefer extra dark)
-
⅔ cup Power Super Foods cacao powder, plus extra for dusting
-
100 ml coconut milk, refrigerated
-
2 teaspoons vanilla extract or ½ teaspoon vanilla powder
-
Pinch of quality salt
-
80 g Power Super Foods cacao butter or coconut oil
Method
-
Add all ingredients except the cacao butter to a high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth and glossy.
-
Gently melt the cacao butter then add it to the blender and blend again until fully incorporated.
-
Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes, or until firm enough to scoop.
-
Remove from the fridge and scoop small portions using a teaspoon. Roll into balls using the palms of your hands.
-
Dust generously with cacao powder and return to the fridge to set.
Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
Best served cold — pure ingredient chocolate melts quickly as it’s made without fillers or stabilisers.
