Manuka Honey

Manuka Honey was once considered a folklore remedy , it has been used by the indigenous people of Austalia and NZ for centuries. The benefits of manuka honey are now scientifically proven. As an effective antibacterial and antimicrobial manuka honey is useful against some microbial strains that colonize the skin, wounds and mucous membranes. It can be topically applied to wounds or mixed with warm water and lemon. Manuka Honey comes from the Leptospermum tree which is native to Australia & NZ. 

The MGO stands for methylglyoxal which is the active medicinal constituent in honey.
