Needing precise and exacting cultivation and care, only 4% of cocoa beans produced in the San Francisco de Macoris region of the Dominican Republic are of the Hispaniola variety. It is solely these select cocoa beans with their intricately fruity profile that are used to craft each of our 65% dark chocolate bars.
